Lara sufaces in an ornate pool, she climbs out, all is calm. She runs straight ahead into the large open area and is immediately attacked by gorillas. Some fancy footwork and shooting handles the situation.
To the right of the ornate pool a passage leads to a staircase. Lara runs up the stairs and emerges...
...into the switch room. There are 4 doors around the room and 5 switches on the balcony. Lara soon discovers the combinations of switches that open the doors.
The first room contains a challenge. How to cross the flames safely. Lara times her run carefully when the flames are out and picks up a lead bar at the other side.
The next room - avoid the spikes. She throws a switch and the dark columns rise. With Some careful hopping Lara finds another lead bar.
Lara enters the next room and notices a column which appears to be holding up the ceiling...
...she follows a passage below and moves a block under the column. The ceiling collapses with sand everywhere. Lara climbs up to an opening in one of the walls.
She finds an aquaduct. Gorillas roam around the water and crocodiles swim in the channels. One gorilla gets close before Lara lays him to rest.Lara traces a long and winding path before obtaining the final lead bar.
Lara was ready for this gorilla, guns poised he didn't stand a chance. In the garden room Lara finds an entrance on the roof at the back.
Midas, according to legend everything he touches turns to gold, Lara places the 3 lead bars into his hand, sure enough they are transformed. She takes them back and then wonders what would happen if she climbed onto the hand herself...
...but she realises that she would probably turn to gold as well. Best not to tempt fate, she has what she came for.
Back in the main room, Lara enters the switch combination for the final door. She places the 3 gold bars into the recepticles and the exit door opens.
