Lara surveys the area. In the water a crocodile swims, but it cannot get her on the shore. She kills the croc and jumps in. Underwater she is able to swim to the next cavern.
The outside of the colosseum. Lions charge and she has to jump back into the water for safety. Eventually she is able to deal with them and enters the colosseum, but the entrance is blocked and Lara must find another way in.
An opening in the cave wall leads to the colosseum, first she must cross the pit of crocodiles.
She stops at the edge of the Arena and admires the vastness of this venue. Opposite she can see the Royal box where high ranking people would once have watched the sport take place.
Pierre attacks and begins shooting at Lara. She shoots back but he is resilient. Eventually he runs off and disappears.
Lara drops down into the arena and has to kill lions and gorillas. Then she heads for the far corner and slides into the lions den.
Another lion awaits. There is a switch here which opens a gate elsewhere. She exits the den and heads to the other side of the arena where the gate just opened.
She opens the gates and a fiendish timed run begins. It takes Lara several goes to perfect her moves but eventuallly she is able to get to the switch inside which opens an inner door.
This leads to the Royal box. Lara admires the finery of this select area.
A series of rooms in 3 corners of the colosseum lead to a rusty key. In this corner pillars lead up to one of the switches.
Back in the throne room the rusty key is used to open the gate. Lara jumps into the water below and leaves the colosseum behind.
There is another crocodile in the water but she can surface in the middle of the tunnel and use her pistols to neutralise it. Back underwater a strong current pulls Lara along, she is unable to resist...
