This blue wall I believe was the back of the shed in the playground. The position would be correct for the wall.

January 2009 - These houses now sit on the site of the old school. The school stood for 120 years and this is all there is to show for it. The houses are not remarkable and there is little evidence that a fine school once stood here.

January 2009 - One of the things that has been preserved from the old school is the belltower, this now sits on the roof of the appartment block which was built in the old playground.

January 2009 - On the gable end of the appartment block is the original flagstone of the school. It has been cleaned up and clearly shows Alverton Street as the original school name from the days when Alverton Street ran past the school.

January 2009 - Pintail court, directly opposite the school. It's hard to believe that victorian houses were once here. All of these Maisonettes, built in the 1960's, that make up the Evelyn estate had a makeover in the 1990's but are essentially the same.

April 2010 - Deptford Firestation in Evelyn Street. Built in 1903 the fire station is next door to the church just along the road from the school.
